Intura Solutions is Closing Business Operations 

I regret to inform you that Intura Solutions is closing its business operations effective June 19, 2009.  We are unable to maintain a viable business due to the ongoing recession and the impact this has had on the restaurant industry and our business.  We apologize for the late notice but our team has been working diligently to prevent the closure of our business up to the very last day.

Thank you so much for your patronage over the years.  Many of you have become great friends and we will miss those relationships.

The information below will help to answer some of the questions that you might have regarding our closure and how to successfully continue using our system.

Support Coverage

If you are currently supported by a reseller partner of Intura, you should continue to rely on their organization for support.

If you rely directly on Intura for support, Intura will end support services at midnight (Central Standard Time), June 19, 2009.  A new organization, The Support Guys, will take over support services for the Intura software products. (Note: Their support offering does not include discontinued products such as Relief Manager Plus and Sell More Pizzas.)

The Support Guys are not associated with Intura Solutions and they will be charging for their support services.  Their contact information is as follows:

Software Updates

At the time of our closing, our development team had been working diligently on a major upgrade of Intura Vision 5.00 that was planned for release in August or September.  Although we are 85% complete with the development of this project, it may be difficult to get it finished at this point.

We will be communicating with customers about the features that are contained in this update to see if there is a significant interest in seeing this update completed.  If so, we will contract with the necessary developers to complete the update.  In this situation, the update will be charged for in order to recover the costs involved to complete it.

If you are not currently running Intura Vision 4.20 with all the latest hot fixes, we encourage you to download and get your system updated.  It is our most feature rich and stable release to date. Please take advantage of it.

Intura Enterprise Hosting

If you currently are on our Intura Enterprise system, your hosting services will continue forward at this point.  All of our servers and your data are located in a secure data center facility in Dallas, Texas.  Our hosting partner will be contacting you in the near future to arrange for continued hosting services going forward.

Intura.com Website

The www.Intura.com website has been moved outside of the Intura headquarters to our hosting provider. This will allow you to continue downloading software, updates and training documentation.

In addition, the Intura Licensing System will continue to be maintained at this location.   During the next week, we will update the registration period for each of our customers to five (5) years.  This means that the next time you have to update the Registration key, it will extend your registration for another five (5) years each time you go to get another key.

Note:  Please keep in mind that the Intura Licensing System does not allow you to update your Registration key unless your current registration has 30 days or less before expiring.  Unfortunately, this cannot be changed.

Hardware Warranty

All hardware warranty, repair and replacement services will need to be handled by the appropriate hardware manufacturer.  Please go to the website for the hardware vendor to find contact information.

Adhesive Label Orders

You will be able to continue placing orders for adhesive labels by calling 866-405-9250 (Ext 5) for the next few weeks. Please have your credit card ready when you call.  We will send additional information with the new contact information for the company handling your label orders in the future.

Get a Great Deal

Should you have the need to purchase additional modules, licenses, hardware or systems, you may continue to contact us during the next several weeks.  We will be able to provide a significant price reduction on the Intura software portion of your order.  Everything will need to be paid in advance with a credit card.
